Discover the importance of travel to RWS artists Shanti Panchal, Neil Pittaway and Caroline McAdam Clark and how it feeds through into their paintings in and out of the studio.

About

This panel discussion will delve into the working processes of these three artists to find out how the act of 'the journey' informs the inspiration that leads to the artwork.

Shanti returns to India each year replenishing his memories of a childhood spent in Gujurat, while Caroline embarks on regular expeditions to new horizons looking for an essential iconography of place. Neil has travelled extensively and has painted in many remote locations including the Nepal Himalayas and the Peruvian Andes.

Complimentary drinks will be served from 6pm and the discussion will start promptly at 6.30pm.

This event is part of the Royal Watercolour Society Festival of Colour.
