About
An exhibition of more than fifty works of painting and photography by emerging and established Iranian artists including Shahriar Tavakoli, Pooya Aryanpour, Morteza Darehbaghi and Sadegh Tirafkan. Taken together these works celebrate the very different and even unique voices of artists working in Iran today. The exhibition features artists who have been making work in the three decades of cultural upheaval since the 1979 Iranian revolution, and presents the murmuring dreams and secrets from the past that are whispered in the ears of each of these artists.
'Whispered Secrets, Murmuring Dreams' is produced by Candlestar, London and Day Art Gallery, Tehran. The exhibition takes place at The Foreign Press Association, Carlton House Terrace, London from 29 April to 5 May 2008.
