About

For their contribution to Seja Marginal, Seja Heroi * (Be Marginal, Be a Hero), London-based artists i-cabin have chosen to represent the role of 'alternative' art spaces within the current London art scene. What is it? includes contributions from Scott Weaver (Curator-Untitled Space, Berlin), Anthony Silvester (Artist), Lewis Amar (Artist), Alec Steadman (Artist/Exhibitions Director - Zoo Art Fair), Darren Norman (Artist), Richard Birkett (Artist/Curator - Whitechapel Project Space), William Morrow (Artist/Former Co-Director - i-cabin), Richard Maskell (Musician) and Mathew Bowman (Art Programmer). The exhibition will include an additional three existing works: Project for Zoo Art-Fair, in which nine artists were commissioned to produce separate works that could be combined to form a single piece, especially for the recent Zoo Art Fair in London; zoo6, a limited edition publication and cabin baggage a group exhibition on the scale of British Airways cabin baggage. Every Thursday during the exhibition, which continues until 18 March, there will be a free event: 1 March: Artists' talk 8 March: Video screening 15 March: Video screening
