About

This seminar-workshop explores the definition of democracy through story-telling, using three different types of power structure: Monarchy, Democracy and Anarchy, to test out different collaborative models. Jem will set a brief for different groups to tell a story - each group will be assigned a different structure in which they can perform. Jem is a PhD candidate with the University of the Arts, London studying effective structures for open, non-hierarchical and collaborative filmmaking. He has given presentations and workshops at Chelsea College of Arts, Camberwell College of Arts, South Bank University & Falmouth University.
