The 21st anniversary of Carlisle’s longest established studio group West Walls Artists. As individuals their work has always offered quality and diversity, reflected through many art-forms; anything from the most exquisite drawings, pen or paint works to the most progressive new media and participatory practice-including spoken word, performance, sound and collaborative working.
About
The anniversary exhibition brings together 40 individuals who have been associated over the 21 years, producing an exhibition of brand new work celebrating the story and highlighting the studio’s role in the arts locally, regionally and internationally.
Their work demonstrates the skill and versatility of these contemporary artists and shows what lies at the heart of West Walls; people who are committed to developing professionalism and want to make things happen here in our city- encouraging community participation and enjoyment.
