Pip Barrett will be presenting a series of new paintings at The Pod followed by an engaging installation at CCCA Fargo Village. This event is part of MY HAPPY SPACE festival which is opening on World Mental Health Day.

Pip Barrett is a Welsh Artist originally from the small village of Llangynidr in mid-Wales but now living in Splott, Cardiff. She is known for producing colourful, bold, paintings that depict the autobiographical. Illustrating her encounters in real life, memory and in an imagined world. Her work was shortlisted for this years BEEP international painting prize and is currently on tour around wales. Pip completed an MFA course at Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2015 and previously a studied her Bachelors degree in Illustration where she focused her practise on mental health awareness.
