Described by fellow members of her illustration collective Le Gun as ‘a spiritual descendant of the Bloomsbury Group with a male alter ego called Shellewellyn', for Illustrator and RCA graduate Amelia Johnstone, life has always been about imagination. Inspired by the writing of Marina Warner and Angela Carter, her work is the detrimental manifestation of a process beyond the literal. Currently residing in Ludlow but soon to be departing, we wish to invite you for one final and deserved hurrah and to say farewell to Amelia by asking that you to enter her world for an exhibition of her most recent work plus that of a selection of invited friends; associates and wayfarers. The exhibition will run from 29th August until the 31st October 2009.
