We Are Open is an experiment for the Lethaby Gallery. Over four weeks graduates from Graphic Design, Fine Art and Spatial Practices will be invited to create responses to the Gallery’s local communities and environments.
About
Each graduate will be resident for one week. The gallery is their studio, and will be open to the public for the duration of their stay.
We Are Open brings the outside world into the gallery, and vice versa. It will feature opportunities for the public and our students to take part in events and workshops, and a reading area where you can browse books selected by our graduates.
The outcomes of each residency are unknown but at the end of each week, new work will be added to the gallery. The resulting group show will represent the diverse range of practices and approaches used by our graduates, and reflect the world around them.
