About
The Wayward title of this exhibition says something about both the theme of the exhibition and the artists themselves. All graduates of Sussex Coast College, these four women artists meet regularly to develop their artistic practice. Here, exhibiting together for the first time, their focus is on work responding to materials, places and travel. Inspired by seashores, local history and journeys, they draw on ordinary materials and experiences to create a range of out of the ordinary work, including drawing, prints, sculpture, books, installation and text.
