A contemporary art exhibition exploring water, flooding & the climate crisis.

About

Across the globe, flooding has become one of the most severe markers of climate change. From the accelerated melting of glaciers or polar ice caps, to the riverbanks of our market towns, and from the biblical age to the most recent loss of habitat, floods conjure apowerful image.

Situated on the banks of the River Severn, flooding is an environmental phenomena well-known to Worcester. Watermark will explore how artists have responded to water defininga landscape, the concern of flooding, and also how people both locally and globally have responded, through a programme of exhibitions, films and talks across Worcester.
