'Time Saves Her' by Rebecca Feiner is a site specific work that explores surviving childhood sexual abuse for exhibition Nothing Endures But Change
About
Rebecca Feiner's site specific work "Time Saves Her' see's her as part artist, part psychological detective investigating the universal human urge to survive. She navigates a traumatic family history which included sexual abuse, utilising the methods and familiar monotones of historic documentary evidence, and herself as living testimony of a survival. Both a chilling yet measured presentation, serving as a reminder that abused children become adults, and equally adult survivors were all once children.
Nothing Endures But Change exhibition of ephemeral sculptures and art works by over 30 artists from the London Group and friends curated by Susan Haire President of the London Group for the Waterloo Music & Arts Festival.
The art directly addresses change, impermanence- the transitory and short lived either in their material, subject matter or both.
