People who have saved this event:

In the first solo exhibition of Lily Jenkins' work, the soft cartoonish figuration used in her paintings record small everyday moments and the stress of living in a city today.

The Peckham Pelican present paintings by Lily Jenkins and a sculptural collaboration between Jenkins and sculptor Dan Burbidge.

The body of work is built around watching people; depicting their bored, hurried, lonely, cheerful bodies as their weeks slip by.

Jenkins is a painter living in South London whose work has always been primarily built on the observation of the other people that live around her.

Burbidge is a stone mason currently studying Historic Stone Carving at City and Guilds.
