For three days, a capsule collection of paintings by British artist Sunil Pawar will take over BUREAU in Clerkenwell, London EC1.

With one foot in contemporary pop art and another in traditional portraiture, Sunil Pawar has dedicated the majority of his life to creating strong and powerful imagery. In his latest body of work, He strives to explore the parallels and similarities between music sound clashes and classic sporting pose with themes of battle and survival, the struggles and fights that we all face on a daily basis. This sense of overcoming adversity brings a heightened tenacity to these vivid portrayals of strength and power with a considered sense of composition and colour.
