We are having our annual benefit show centered around the theme: Vocalize. It will be a two-night performance event with an art gallery.

About the show:
For the past six years Boston Community Dance Project has guest performed at over 100 shows, hosted more than 20 workshops, and given out more than $2000 in scholarships for our CONTEMPORIZE! 2 Day Intensive. We are eager to strengthen the community, give back to ones in need, and celebrate those who should be acknowledge for their talents, acts of kindness, and love toward the performing arts! VOCALIZE! will be inspiring for all and we hope for you to attend on August 24th and/or August 25th at The BU Dance Theater!
We are also adding an art gallery as part of the night festivities which will be located in The BU Dance Theater Lobby before entering into the theater as well as during intermission. Sculptures, paintings, graphic designs, poetry, and more art related pieces will be showcased to support the local artists of our community and bring you into the "vocalize" experience right when you enter in.
In addition to this, part of the proceeds for our annual summer benefit show will go to this year's charity of choice, "The Expression Project!"
“The Expression Project (projeX for short) wants to spread a message of positivity and hope. projeX is a youth based campaign whose goal is to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis by means of our passions in the visual and performing arts. This disease is one that affects all of its victims differently so its that much harder to cure. However, the young artists behind projeX hope to make a difference.”
