Virtual Open Studios June 2020 | GlogauAIR is starting on the 19th of June at 19:00h at www.glogauair.net! Experience online a presentation with photo, video, and audio contributions of 12 talented international artists along with our Berlin Guest Resident Kovács/O’Doherty.
About
Due to the current coronavirus crisis, GlogauAIR will remain closed to the public until further notice, which means that all public events are on hold.
However, our current resident artists continue to work on their projects, so as to present very soon an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE Open Studios!
With such dedication of bringing art to the public in the time of COVID-19, our team has worked together to make June 2020 Open Studios an online exclusive program. The virtual exhibition will go live on our website (https://glogauair.net/open-studios/) on Friday, June 19th at 19:00. Join us there to experience online a multimedia presentation of open studios with photo, video and audio contributions from each of the participating artists.
Twelve of GlogauAIR's resident artists coming from nine countries will offer people around the world the chance to visit their studios online and see all new work, the results of their residency projects supported by GlogauAIR. Along with our international artists, GlogauAIR invites Kovács/O’Doherty - a local art collaborative duo, whose work will also be introduced in our project space!

// BERLIN GUEST RESIDENT // Kovács/O’Doherty
Kata Kovács and Tom O’Doherty have worked as a collaborative duo since 2011. They live and work in Berlin, Germany. Their work combines elements of durational and time-based art, minimalist movement and image, and electroacoustic music and sound. They are interested in processes, sounds, and movements that come close to imperceptibility, and the ways in which this material can be transformed through repetition, patterning, layering, and archiving.
