Contemporary Art Textiles
Over 40 abstract art textiles by the artist group ViewSeven. The wall-based works, are made using both historic and innovative techniques from hand-stitch to Shibori.

About

ViewSeven is a group of seven artists dedicated to the making of contemporary abstract art textiles. ‘A Sense of Place’ their third collective exhibition presents over forty works of art that explore responses to environment and landscape. The works, all wall-based, are made using both historic and innovative techniques and materials, from raw earth pigments to fibre reactive dyes, hand-stitch to Shibori. The artists are established in their field, several of them are also authors, curators or educators in art textiles, others have works currently in major public touring exhibitions.
