An exhibition featuring photographs of Vietnamese Londoners by Julia Thanh

About

Oxford House is excited to host an exhibition which explores the British Vietnamese experience in London. The focal subjects of Julia Thanh’s exhibition are a selection of second generation British Vietnamese citizens who have grown up, or are now living in London. At times many have been uncertain of their identity as they negotiate the dual values and cultures of being British and Vietnamese. This project aims to raise the profile of the British Vietnamese community in London. Join us at the Opening Night which will feature a talk by Tamsin Barber from Oxford Brookes University and Diana Yeh from City University, who both specialise in identity among British-born Vietnamese in London. There will also be spoken word performances, Vietnamese canapés and drinks. Doors will open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
