29 April 08 (Tuesday) - 7.30pm - Free entry - doors open at 6.30pm for cocktail happy hour The YouTube Thing is a curated screening of videos from YouTube, selected in collaboration with Nadege Derderian and Orion Maxted from protoPLAY. A screening of touching, angering, curious, visceral and ever-so voyeuristic pieces, taken from the mass contemporary ‘archive' of YouTube. There will be an opportunity for questions with the curators, and a special piece of writing about The YouTube Thing will be available. We will be exchanging a programme of work with NWFF later in the year. Work we have selected will be screened in September in Brighton and at NWFF's venue in Seattle in December.
