JonaQuestArt presents VIBRANT CONTINUUM. This exhibition presents an eclectic range of artworks, where the energetic pieces weave together an international assemblage of practices that move between intense abstraction and meticulous figuration.

About

JonaQuestArt presents Vibrant Continuum as part of its annual celebration, marking another milestone on its quest to showcase the works of undiscovered and emerging artist in its Greenwich Gallery.

The collection of works presented, explores a kaleidoscope of dynamic colours, and textures. Locating itself at the intersection of African culture and aesthetics. This exhibition includes an eclectic range of artworks, where the energetic pieces weave together an international assemblage of practices that move between intense abstraction and meticulous figuration. Spanning a variety of methods and delicate materials the works included in this exhibition highlights JonaQuestArt’s spectrum of cultural vantage points.

This exhibition includes works by:

  • Fallou Beye (Senegal)
  • Kola Awokunle (Nigeria)
  • Muktair Oladoja(Nigeria)
  • Inna Bolund (Belarus)
  • Lillian Hollingdale (UK)
  • Onome Otite (UK)
  • Stephen Joynson (UK)

This transnational gathering celebrates different cultural and artistic experiences. Along with works of art, Vibrant Continuumwill also include a unique selection of handmade accessories from Mali, Senegal, Ghana, Italy and the UK, complementing the selected artworks on show and presenting remarkable craftsmanship.

We invite you to join in the celebration of our first birthday in our Greenwich premises, where you will voyage on both a visual and sensory experience. You will be entertained with music, nibble on Suya (Nigerian Kebab), as well as drinks. Come and celebrate with us on our progressive journey.

There will be sealed auction on one of the pieces and the winner will be announced on the 11th of June. A percentage of the proceeds will go to a grass root charity supporting good causes.

The OPENING EVENING is Thurs. 11th May Oct 6 – 9pm.
The exhibition continues 12th May - 18th May

After the exhibition, unsold works will form part of the rotating works of the gallery and will still be available to view as part of the permanent installation of art in the space.
