AboutâUrban Me' is an investigation of the chance encounters, everyday realities, and intimate experiences of the City, expressed through the mediums of photography, painting, and spoken word.
The exhibition is a dynamic contemporary collaboration between emerging artists of our generation, bridging the divide between artists, audiences and genres. UrbanMe promotes collaboration as a platform to ignite further fields of inspiration. Utilizing and connecting local resources and communities the exhibition engages with and encourages a sense of community that is believed by some, to have been lost within the urban environment.
Visitors to this exhibition have the chance to truly immerse themselves in the innovative mix of sensory experiences, with performances from highly acclaimed young poets, accompanied by the dynamic visual style of contemporary artists including Mayumi Hirata, Jason Wilde, Dominic Clarke. Jack West, Charlotte Stubbs, Alex Jones & Eleanor Kelly, Celine Choo and Derek Pereira.
