Join artists James Aldridge: Art, Ecology & Learning and Karen Wood for a FREE interactive walk from Spitalfields Studios in East London. Walk, talk and make as you go, exploring the streets and recording what you notice using a range of media.
About
This walk is limited to 12 participants, age 16+. Please book your FREE ticket for this event via Eventbrite - https://cutt.ly/URE-walkArt materials will be provided. Donations are welcomed to help cover expenses. Please feel free to bring any cameras etc that you would like to use to document your journey.
This walk is linked with the Urban Rural Exchange exhibition at the Sky Gallery, Spitalfields Studios. The exhibition draws on a year long collaboration between James (Wiltshire) and Karen (London), as they walk, talk and make to record their experiences and explore the relationship between the Rural and the Urban.
James and Karen will be available from 12.00 pm to give participants a chance to visit the exhibition and discuss the work.
The walk will leave the studios building on Greatorex St at 1.00pm, returning at approximately 2.30pm
