Inspired by unexpected tangents of geometric shapes found in architecture, building sites and on the streets, Karen Wood creates studies in industrial colour with electrical tape and a scalpel, which are edited and abstracted in the studio

Urban Edit, Karen's yyyy solo exhibition in London, uses the natural light and architecture of the Sky Gallery at Spitalfields Studios.
This interactive site-specific installation connects the viewer, via a childlike exploratory journey, with Karen's photographic images of road markings, studio drawings, prints, paintings and remixed words.
