UR Human Presence is an improvisation of 3D sound, dance and performance art.
Two sound artists, four contemporary dancers, a performance artist and a visual artist come together to portrait the inner workings of the human body.
About
UR Human Presence is an experimental performance taking place at four different times with limited capacity on the 21st October at Aures London in Waterloo, the UK’s first fully immersive entertainment venue with cutting-edge acoustics and 3D audio-visual projections. The event tries to capture what defines our ability to be present in space and time.
Drawing from osteopath Sundip Aujla’s knowledge, curator Christian Duka with sound artist Jose Macabra design a 3D sound score, while Rebecca Evans choreographs a group of dancers from her contemporary dance company Pell Ensemble. Artist Elissavet Sfyri reacts performing around the edges of the space with her voice amplified and her inner organs pre-recorded while Marco Maldarella curates visuals and lights.
Each improvised element of the performance relies on the other to create a metaphor of the human body. As the audience steps in the venue, it takes part in a system of sounds, visuals and bodies in action and reaction.
Each of 4 performances welcomes a maximum of 30 people, few more spaces are available at: https://christianduka.com/ur
