About
The designers Verena Mack, Ondine Pannet together with Artmann&Duvoisin and Aleksandar Živković, who were awarded the 2022 Sponsorship Prize for Young Book Design, will be honoured with an exhibition.
The three award-winning works, associated performance videos, choreography drawings, photographic works and art prints as well as award-winning sponsorship prize projects from previous years will be on display.
Each a strong design statement in its own right, the works of this year's awardees invite a change of perspective through their interplay:
Verena Mack
'Nonbinary Future'
Artmann&Duvoisin, Gestaltung: Ondine Pannet (Bureau Est)
'Umzug in eine vergleichbare Lage'
Aleksandar Živković
'Was bleibt vom Opelaner ohne Opel-Werk?'

*About »Sponsorship Prize for Young Book Design«
The competition »Sponsorship Prize for Young Book Design« aims to detect inventive ideas on printed publications or hybrid book forms, and thus developments in the field of editorial design: An attempt to create visibility for impulses of tomorrow as well as quality concepts of today. This design competition for the up- and coming does not focus on technical perfection but on conception. Endowed by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, Stiftung Buchkunst (German foundation for book design) has been awarding the »Sponsorship Prize for Young Book Design« since 1989. A jury of designers and design lecturers highlights three titles that are worthy of an award, three extraordinary projects that further explore the medium of the book.
