A unique opportunity to see works by LS Lowry which have never previously been exhibited. Privately owned, these paintings and drawings were in the Lowry's home at the time of his death in 1976 and include some of his earliest sketches as well as paintings completed in the early 1970s. They range from landscapes to studies of individual figures and early drawings of mill scenes. Held to coincide with Tate Britain's summer exhibition Lowry and the Painting of Modern Life, these exhibitions provide a unique and memorable insight into the artists' life and career.
