UNREAL CITY // UNREAL CITY is a multimedia installation by Florence Platford in collaboration with members of Generic Greeting.

About

The installation is spread across five rooms in Manchester's BLANKSPACE gallery and seeks to create an immersive, multi-sensory environment informed by techno-capitalist iconography in the architectures of cities, in art and in popular culture. UNREAL CITY features visuals by Liam Healy and music produced specifically for the event by Big War, Ffrenchfire and Kernon. There will be a launch night on THURSDAY 2ND MAY at the gallery from 6pm-10pm, featuring live sets from Big War and Ffrenchfire. The exhibition will then run until 8th May. The exhibition and launch night are both free. BLANKSPACE is located on Hulme Street, off Oxford Road. If approaching from Fallowfield/Withington, it's a left turning before the Palace Hotel.
