A collective exhibition from Hive Arts Community, all pieces made during the l Covid-19 lockdown period March - July 2020.

About

As a social species we rely on a safe, secure social surroundings to survive and thrive. Perceptions of social isolation, or loneliness, increase vigilance for threat and heighten feelings of vulnerability while also raising the desire to reconnect.

Though many of this art group have remained in contact throughout the lockdown through social media we have all been looking forward to connecting once again and chatting over coffee.

This exhibition is a collective expression of the solitude and loneliness many felt during these strange times of lockdown.

All pieces made during initial lockdown period from March to July 2020
