We are pleased to invite you to MAPS, the University of Westminster's MA Photographic Studies final show running from 3-9 September.
The topic of this year'sàÂ exhibition has been inspired byàÂ theàÂ collectiveàÂ international diversity of the 2013 graduate group,àÂ which comprises of 27 photographic artists from a remarkable 17 different countries. A panel discussion, Mapping a Global Photography Practice, will support the exhibition by exploring some of theàÂ opportunities arising for contemporary practitionersàÂ in today's global environment.

As emerging photographers entering the global art industry, the aim for each of us is to find a way to launch our careers whilst grasping every opportunity for exposure. In the current economic, and technological climate what strategies are effective in order to make a mark in this competitive environment
Based on the aforementioned, the panel discussion will lead an insightful conversation on theàÂ expanding fields of:
â¢ international artist collaboration
â¢ artistàÂ residencies

We are also really pleased to announce that Charlotte Cotton, acclaimed curator and writer, will be writing an essay for the exhibition catalogue.
