For the first time, both The Gallery@ and The Panorama will be proudly hosting the annual exhibition of the work of graduating artists from University Campus Barnsley's Interdisciplinary Art and Design BA (Hons) degree course. UCB — a campus of the University of Huddersfield, located in the heart of Barnsley — is a small and friendly environment that offers all the facilities and services that you would expect to find at a large university. The Interdisciplinary Art and Design degree course offers students the opportunity to work across many different art and design disciplines, which could include painting, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, printmaking, and jewellery making. Students are encouraged to cross boundaries and experiment with materials and media, in pursuit of exciting and innovative art and design solutions. Presenting their final year show at The Civic has allowed the students to develop their professional practice, whilst showcasing their talent to the people of Barnsley.
