The Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL) is proud to present Undissed and Very Able, a photography exhibition created by the members of the Progressive Visions Photo Club.
About
Established in 1997 and based in Woodside, Queens, the Progressive Visions Photo Club is made up of a group of photographers with disabilities who enjoy exploring the neighborhoods of New York City in order to capture their world through photography.
The exhibition will display the work of over twenty contributing photographers from the club, each with their own styles and characteristics. A wide variety of cameras and photography methods are utilized by these photographers, from DSLR cameras, cameras with specialized shutters and mounting systems, and the usage of image editing software. Using these tools, the photographers have created over 40 photographs and digital collages which will be on display at the exhibit.
