We are very happy to present the first double exhibition in Germany by Katarzyna Badach and Alfredo Ramos Fernandez.
About
The concept of the exhibition Umstülpungen (engl. inversion) thematises the inner conditions in urban landscape between figuration and abstraction, photography and painting.
Photographer Alfredo Ramos and painter Katarzyna Badach confront their own perceptions of urban space with each other. Besides the differences in their media- and image-language, Ramos and Badach create a dialogue between apparently opposing positions. The main statement for both artists is about transformation and inversion of an inner condition into an outer state. It is visible that both Ramos and Badach have similarities in observing the conditions they are surrounded.
