Join us in bringing together the materials community to work towards a UCL-supported Materials Innovation Network, with a review of Raw Materials: Plastics, a collaborative project and exhibition between Bow Arts and UCL.
About
Help to shape a future Materials Innovation Network, which aims to anticipate and identify industry, practitioner and consumer needs; highlighting desires and challenges using themes such as heritage, sustainability, well-being and ethics as an innovative lens through which to examine certain materials, such as plastics.
Our vision for the Network will be shared and we invite you to contribute to that vision. Insights gleaned through the Raw Materials: Plastics project will be presented and used as starting-off points for wider discussions about the future direction of the network and the possibilities for new idea generation and collaboration. Speakers from the UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage, UCL Innovation & Enterprise and Bow Arts will be attending.
Raw Materials: Plastics was made possible through generous support from the National Lottery’s Heritage Fund and UCL departments, Institute for Sustainable Heritage, Institute of Making and Slade School of Fine Art and Department of Art History.
