TWS-Emerging is a program associated with the open call exhibition, Tokyo Wonder Wall, which has provided talented young artists with a gateway to success. Each year, Tokyo Wonder Wall receives more than 1000 applications and 100 artists are selected to show their works. TWS-Emerging offers the opportunity for those selected artists to take part in another exhibition at Tokyo Wonder Site, and this year, 9 young artists have been invited. [Part 1] will start on 6/10(Sat) featuring three artists, Minako Kuroishi, Yasuiaki Kuroda and Sachiko Jin. Opening Talk with a guest speaker will be taking place on the opening day (Available only in Japanese). Yasuaki Kuroda ‘Contextile’ Born in 1986 in Niigata, Yasuaki Kuroda received a Master degree in Arts (industrial, interior and craft design) from Musashino Art University in 2012. Sachiko Jin ‘Blink/Vision’ Born in 1988, Sachiko Jin received a Master degree in Arts (oil painting) from Musashino Art University in 2016.
