*EVENT CANCELLED, RESCHEDULED DATE TBC* Satellites Programme artists Helen McCrorie, Emmie McLuskey, Kimberley O’Neill and Katie Shannon will present three new sound performances and launch a new poster work.

This new print was collectively developed to reflect on sharing cultures and consider different forms of collaboration and continuities across the group’s work and personal lives. This event brings together ideas and discussions from the past 2 years of working together as a group with Collective through the Satellites Programme.

For the sound event Emmie and Kim build on their collaborations through and after Satellites to present a new sound mix together. Helen has invited Mark Vernon to work with her on a live performance, as a development of their collaboration on the sound design for Helen’s film If play is neither inside nor outside, where is it? (2019). Katie’s work through performance, text and music will inform her contribution for the night.

Satellites Programme is Collective’s development programme for artists and producers based in Scotland. Satellites is selected annually through an open call to support a small group of practitioners. The programme is structured around a series of exhibitions and events, coupled with regular group activity including retreats, facilitated discussions and workshops.

Satellites 2019 was selected by a panel comprising of; artist Kathryn Elkin, writer Caoimhín Mac Giolla Léith and Curator Camille Videcoq.
