Trude Forsher becomes private secretary of Elvis Presley in the 1950s. In 1920 she was born in a Viennese Jewish family.

About

In August 1938 she managed to escape from Vienna, and her family was able to save her. She went to New York through London and went on to Hollywood, which fascinated her. Distant relatives were the music producers Jean and Julian Aberbach, also from Vienna. Hill and Range Songs were signed by a number of Elvis composers. So Trude got the job they envy many teenagers: she belonged to the innermost circle around Elvis Presley and worked in Hollywood for him and his manager Colonel Tom Parker. Also some of Elvis's closest friends were Jews, which for a Protestant from the south of the USA was not self-evident in that time. In the time after Elvis, Trude Forsher, together with Adolph Zukor II, the grandson of the legendary Filmmoguls, founded a TV production company. After her retirement, she became a social politist for divorced mothers, for which she received several awards. Trude Forsher's son, James, places at the disposal of the Jewish Museum Vienna their legacy from the early days of the US Showbiz
