‘Triple Threat’ presents new work by Kaitlyn Walker-Stewart in the artist's first solo show. Kaitlyn considers the idea of the Triple Threat in relation to personal ambition, failure, success, optimism and both realistic and mundane expectations.
The works and their stagings are ambitious, yet shy. Futile, yet strong. Threatening, yet vulnerable. Through the artist's own Triple Threat identity, Kaitlyn strives for a sense of attainable acceptance in a world perpetuating fame as commodity, and reflects on the destructive nature of social power within popular culture.
The preview will have limited drinks available, BYOB encouraged
