Trine Søndergaard's exhibition brings together two series of photographs: "Interior" and "Guldnakke". The word Still has no literal equivalent in French, it combines the notions of calm and silence.
Everything seems to differentiate these two series "Interior" and "Guldnakke": on one side the void, the absence of life, the silence, a composition with a monochrome tendency and marked by geometric figures. On the other, a human presence, even if the faces are not visible, the brilliance of a material, a palette of colors and a symphony of fabrics. But to look more closely at it, the demanding work on the light which illuminates the places and the bodies, the rigor of the composition, the rendering of the materials and the skin, bring closer the photographs which compose "Interior" and "Guldnakke", thus participating in the style of Trine Søndergaard. And beyond their subject, this set is full of calm and silence.
