Triangle Red Herring: April 30th - May 2nd

About

Set within the turreted exhibition space of Chelsea School of Art's C204, TRIANGLE RED HERRING is an exhibition of three contemporary artists from Chelsea and Goldsmiths dealing with fantasy, identity and novelty through video, performance and installation. The space forms a Bermuda Triangle realm of misleading clues. The triptych of artists, Grace Schofield, Paul Kindersley and Patrick Staff each explore a distorted narrative, creating referential pieces that navigate the history of the Harlequin and the culture of businessmen, 50s melodrama, 90s teen culture, glamour, camp and exploitation films. The work breaks down the stages of representation and creates oblique layers of reality, fantasy and fiction. PLEASE NOTE: exhibition is within Chelsea School of Arts, room C204, Turret Exhibition Space.
