About

Introducing: Steve Gould

“Treescape”.

Pro associate artist Steve Gould will be exhibiting his work at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness until September

The theme encompasses the natural world, its wildlife, flora, fauna and tree species, along with the challenges we face to conserve our planet.

Steve Gould is a SAA Pro Associate Artist with Splash of Gold Arts - a community based art group set up in 2016 and currently holding sessions at the Storehouse and Eco Centre in Skegness.

Exploring through various mediums of pen and ink; acrylic and watercolour, Steve aims to raise awareness of the issues we face in trying to conserve precious resources.

Intricate monotone studies of insect life; vibrant acrylics depicting the magnificence of a wooded canopy; glowing watercolour feathered finches; native wild creatures will all contribute to our understanding of the delicate balance of nature.

The perpetual war against plastic waste and it’s impact on our green spaces and coastal waters will also feature.

Through the power of art, this exhibition will be thought provoking and will promote a positive approach to safeguarding the future of planet Earth.

Furthermore, the artist will be incorporating bio degradable glitter in a subtle appropriate manner into one of his artworks.

To raise awareness that there are viable alternatives to using destructive plastic materials the glitter is suitable to be used as make up so we will have a model to act as a walking work of art.
