Translucent

Translucent is an artist-led immersive evening of performances. The second iteration will take place at Sluice Art Gallery, in Hackney. We provide platform for work from trans*, non-binary and gender non-conforming artists that begins with the experience of a non-normative gender identity but does not stay there. Instead, it expands to themes of love, desire, anxiety, social structures, planetary issues, boundaries (physical and mental), ways of living, survival, the now and the future and so on. We show work that seeks to communicate with the audiences, at an emotional, conceptual, political or spiritual level.
