As a final event for our TRAID photography collective project an exhibition will take place in our newest shop in Peckham opening on 18th December, 6:30pm – 9pm.
About
The idea of the exhibition and behind the whole project is exploring and challenging the relations between charity shops, sustainable fashion and visual communication through fashion photography.
The exhibition, curated by Alessandro Ruggieri, includes works by: Will Grundy, Tyrone Williams, Sumeja Tulic, Laurence Von Thomas, David Richardson and Lorenzo Vitturi.
This will be the chance to enjoy a printed selection of the pictures that six London based photographers have been taking, picking clothes from TRAID charity shops.
MUSIC for the opening will be brought to you by Lexus Blondin from the Total-Refreshment Centre. Him and his gang of vintage vinyl addicts will bring a selection ranging from African rock to Mutant Disco via Dub & reggae .
