This solo show from Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival Open winner Tracy Hill offers an opportunity to connect with unique wetland locations around Warrington.
About
Contrary to popular belief wetlands offer geological and archaeological heritage dating back thousands of years whilst at the same time offering solutions to many future ecological and environmental challenges.
Over a short residency period a unique site specific gallery drawing will be created, working directly on the gallery walls the installation will draw from data collected via commercial mapping equipment. Through a multi-sensory response the data will then be represented creating a new vision bringing together the history of place and a reimagined vision of future understanding and appreciation of these unique wetland spaces.
