Tracing my echo as a concept attempts to reassess the sequence and correlation between the past, present and future, inviting artists and audience to create new paths spanning from the intrinsic nature of cosmic existence to interventions that personify our intimate daily environment and routine.
In the endeavour to trace a course to its origins; since it is unique in time, a parallel path is created. 21 artists explore this duality by forming a multidisciplinary map swinging from what was, to all possible outcomes, stretching within time and space, while they examine the paradox of the singularity of repetition and the perpetually of the singular.
The exhibition travels and through discussion and collaboration new works emerge and evolve, creating an ever changing experience for each destination, while always reflecting its continuous line of reference. Berlin is the second stop of this journey.
This exhibition features works that explore the perpetual âI' whilst recording momentary experiences; they interrogate socio-economical heritages, redefine the understanding of identity and through personal reflection they create ingenious avenues of knowledge. Mythological and historical facts gain new conceptual framework where archetypical shapes and raw materials form personal histories.
Tracing my echo expands and negotiates the Interchangeability and flexibility of the notion of an exhibition space; the book, which is presented both as a means of recording and registration of the trajectory of tracing and in parallel expands the perception of exhibitional spaces by utilising its familiar functionality of an object through a new prism of identity of a spatial entity.
