5 artists exhibit several times a sculpture on a route between Berlin and Marseille.
About
The steps are determined by the city where they live and work respectively.
The works are programmatic, reproducible, contextual or in situ, of varying size and respond to a reduced economy of means.
Their preparation is clear (cut, dispose, distribute, confine ...): the artist turns but does not occur, it produces, reproduces gestures.
This exhibition requires a pooling of resources and organization that exceeds, in the middle of the plastic arts, rarely the scale of a regional territory or paired with another.
"Tournée » is the image of the works which it promotes: a furtive and fleeting action prone to accidents and chance: draw a line on a map. "
