Experience an Indigenous Mexican response to climate change this autumn.

About

TOTEM LATAMAT will travel through the UK this autumn stopping at iconic locations on its journey to the COP26 Climate Summit in November.

Carved by the Indigenous Mexican Totonac artist Jun Tiburcio, the totem is a messenger from the Totonac people, calling attention to the damage being done to the seas, the land and the air.

Chiswick House is the first site the Totem will visit when it arrives in the UK, and will be on site to view between 1 October – 5 October*.

TOTEM LATAMAT is commissioned by ORIGINS Festival, co-presented by Centro de las Artes Indígenas with the support of The Open University and the Embassy of Mexico.

Plan your visit to Chiswick House chiswickhouseandgardens.org.uk/plan-your-visit/

*Please note all dates are subject to change and the most up-to-date schedule for the totem's tour across the UK will be available on the ORIGINS Festival website.*
