The exhibition Fifth Honeymoon with Torbjørn Rødland consists largely of new photographs and a film, supplemented by a smaller selection of older works. Redland's precise photographic compositions, still life, portraits and details of human bodies, are contradictory. At one time familiar and foreign, beautiful, sometimes slightly erotic and at the same time a little disgusting.
Redland's photographs are not easily readable and thus slow down the speed at which images are often consumed today. The exhibition is a collaboration with Bergen Kunsthall and KIASMA in Helsinki. After being shown at Bonniers Konsthall, the exhibition will tour to KIASMA.
