A textile and mixed media exhibition showcasing the varied work of 10 Norwich textile artists.
About
A textile and mixed media exhibition showcasing the varied work of 10 Norwich textile artists, comprising traditional embroidery alongside contemporary and cutting edge experimental textile art, using hand and machine embroidery, and mixed media.
Also included is a display of embroideries inspired by the North Norfolk Chalk Reef, Topstitch's 'Postcards from Lockdown' and several sketchbooks.
TOPstitch members will be present during the exhibition every day from 10am until 12pm, welcoming discussion about their work and art form. Members will also be giving demonstrations of their textile art.
There will also be a special talk given by Helen Durrant on September 1st, from 2pm until 3pm, entitled 'First catch your pear'.
