Participatory Installations

Sandra Schmidt (Germany)

The participatory installation ‘Babel‘ is a mobile which currently consists of +- 350 paper houses. Viewers are invited to become participants by writing stories for the present houses and/or producing paper houses with their own stories.  

Kirsten Wechslberger (Namibia)

The central themes of the participatory installation is subjectivity, evaluation and marginalities. She gives viewers the platform to playfully explore and reevaluate  personal opinions directly linked to different forms of marginalization in society.
