A unique opportunity to join writer Adam Thirlwell and artist Mark Wallingeras they select and discuss their favourite works from Drawing Biennial 2015.

Adam Thirlwell, born in 1978, grew up in north London and read English at Oxford. His first novel, Politics (2003), was followed by The Escape (2009) and an avant-garde novella, Kapow! (2012), which was nominated for a Design Museum award in 2013. His third novel, Lurid & Cute, has just been published. He has twice been selected as one of Granta’s Best of Young British novelists, in 2003 and 2013.

Mark Wallinger, born 1959 in London, studied at Chelsea School of Art and Goldsmiths College. He won the Turner Prize in 2007 for his installation State Britain, which was a direct representation of the banners and paraphernalia of Brian Haw’s long term protest in Parliament Square. Wallinger represented Britain at the 2001 Venice Biennale, and Ecce Homo (1999) was the first work to occupy the empty fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.
