Artist Natasha Caruana invites viewers to step inside her mother’s bedroom via a 360 degree VR work & interactive installation set against a backdrop of love, desire, health and our current age of excess.
About
Natasha Caruana is a London-based artist working across photography, moving image and installation. Caruana has an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art, London. Her work begins autobiographically, exploring narratives of love, betrayal and fantasy, underpinned by a performative and playful approach. Her work is created drawing from archives, the Internet and personal accounts.
Natasha Caruana’s art practice is grounded in research concerned with narratives of love, betrayal and fantasy. Significant to all Caruana’s work is the questioning of how today’s technology is impacting relationships.
The interactive installation, Timely Tale, will be exhibited in London this Winter. For the first time three still images have been added to the series. These handprinted C-type photographs ‘Still waiting I, II & III’ allow the audience to stop and look a little longer at Penny and her surroundings.
